Corporate theatre
“Expressing the status quo to facilitate change”
If you want to get people thinking and show things in a new light, corporate theatre can add value by gripping people, finding pictures and words for hidden topics and illustrating matters in a nutshell. Besides, corporate theatre is fun!
How do you get a play onto “your stage”, which will accelerate change?
First, you describe the change you are aiming for and your target group to me.
I then ask a representative sample of the target group about important, incisive and possibly also funny events, relevant aspects, corporate values, stories and phrases that are linked to your change requirement. All of the information collected is confidential and condensed into a short play. As the client, you release the final version.
Professional actors then stage the play, reflecting a part of your work reality for you and your employees. Much can be addressed. Everyone will be able to identify, and the play gives food for thought by respectfully questioning each staff member while also enabling people to laugh about themselves. The play is open-ended and it is this which makes it so powerful.
This form of theatre makes it possible to discuss and change matters by breaking down taboos.
Immediately after the play, the audience takes on a proactive role. The topics addressed are discussed in small groups and initial measures are agreed.
A powerful tool – and one I will be happy to advise you on.
